Advanced LT | Low-Temperature Full-Color Heat Transfers

Full-color low-temperature transfers for technical, performance, and heat-sensitive fabrics. Nine sizes from 1.5 x 1.5 in to 11.7 x 16.5 in, minimum 10 pieces. Hot-peel press at 260-270F in 12-15 seconds.

Loading the configurator…

Low-Temperature Full-Color Heat Transfers print a complete full-color design in a single press at just 260°F to 270°F, built for technical fabrics and premium garments that cannot take standard press heat. A low-cure adhesive bonds fully at the lower temperature, so performance wear, tri-blends, spandex, high poly blends, premium jackets, polos, hoodies, and pressable water-resistant bags and outerwear come out clean with no scorch marks and no shine. There is no color limit and no weeding, so detailed logos, gradients, and small text stay sharp with a smooth, flexible finish.

The print carries a white backing under the color, which keeps artwork vivid on both light and dark fabrics. Color stays consistent across reorders with spot-color matching for brand palettes, and metallic colors are available at no extra cost for premium looks. The transfer stretches and rebounds without cracking through regular wear, and the water-based inks keep the hand smooth on garments that get worn, packed, and washed. Independent wash testing supports long service life on compatible fabrics.

Nine finished sizes are available, from a 1.5 x 1.5 in chest mark or sleeve hit up to an 11.7 x 16.5 in full back panel, including a 2.5 x 2.5 in logo, a 4 x 4 in left-chest, an 11.7 x 11.7 in square, and alternate A5 and A4 orientations for wide or tall layouts. Every size is offered at every quantity, so one file can run 10 pieces for a team rollout and repeat unchanged at volume. The minimum is 10 identical pieces per design, with unit pricing that steps down at 20, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 2500, and 5000 pieces.

These transfers suit performance wear, tri-blends, spandex and stretch blends, high poly count blends, tech fibers, premium jackets and outerwear, polos, hoodies, and water-resistant promotional bags, outerwear, and shoes that still take a press. They are not for fabrics that are 100 percent waterproof, where a promotional transfer is the safer choice, and they crack over seams, so headwear needs a seam-free press area and six-panel caps suit a headwear-specific transfer. This formulation has no dye-blocking layer, so where fabric dye may migrate even at a lower temperature, a dye-blocking transfer is the safer choice.

Application takes 12 to 15 seconds at 260°F to 270°F with medium-firm 30 to 40 psi pressure, then a hot peel. Use an air-operated or manual heat press, not a domestic iron, a craft press, or any press without adequate pressure settings, and press a sample first when you change fabrics. Supply one print-ready PDF with fonts outlined and fine lines at 0.6 pt or heavier, and add Pantone or CMYK notes in the Colors field where needed. Production runs 1 to 2 business days. For heat-sensitive fabrics that must press low and finish clean, this is the format to order.

FAQ

Single Image FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is this transfer?

A full-color transfer with a low-cure adhesive for heat-sensitive fabrics. One artwork file produces every color at once, with a smooth flexible finish, no weeding, and a hot peel at 260°F to 270°F.

Which fabrics is it made for?

Technical performance fabrics such as tri-blends, spandex and stretch blends, high poly blends and tech fibers, plus premium jackets, polos, hoodies, and pressable water-resistant bags, outerwear, and shoes. It suits any pressable item that scorches or shines at standard heat.

How is it different from a dye-blocking transfer?

This formulation has no dye-blocking layer. It solves heat damage, not dye migration. Where fabric dye may bleed even at a lower temperature, a dye-blocking transfer is the safer choice.

Will it work on waterproof fabrics?

It bonds to water-resistant fabrics but not to fabrics that are 100 percent waterproof. For fully waterproof shells, a promotional transfer is the safer choice.

What sizes can I order?

Nine finished sizes, from 1.5 x 1.5 in up to 11.7 x 16.5 in, including a 2.5 x 2.5 in logo, a 4 x 4 in chest, an 11.7 x 11.7 in square, and alternate A5 and A4 orientations for wide or tall layouts. The largest covers a full back panel.

What is the minimum order?

10 identical pieces per design. For fewer than 10, use a no-minimum format instead.

How does quantity pricing work?

Any quantity from 10 pieces upward. Unit cost steps down at 20, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 2500, and 5000 pieces, so larger runs cost less per piece.

Will it work on dark and light garments?

Yes. A white backing under the color keeps artwork bright on both light and dark fabrics. Choose the garment color at checkout so the job runs correctly.

How do I specify brand colors?

Use the Colors field to enter Pantone or PMS numbers, CMYK values, or other custom color instructions in plain text. Spot-color matching is available, and metallic colors are available at no extra cost.

What press settings do I use?

260°F to 270°F for 12 to 15 seconds at 30 to 40 psi medium-firm pressure, then peel hot. Use a higher setting on a manual press. Full steps are on the Application tab.

What press do I need?

An air-operated or manual heat press with adequate pressure settings. A domestic iron or a low-pressure craft press will not bond the transfer correctly.

Can I press it on caps or bags?

Only where the press area is smooth and seam-free. The print cracks over seams, so six-panel caps need a headwear-specific transfer, and promotional gear gets best results from a promotional transfer.

How durable is the print?

Independent wash testing supports 80+ washes before signs of fading or cracking on compatible fabrics. Follow the garment care label, wash inside out where allowed, and avoid softener on the printed area.

What artwork file should I upload?

One file per design, PDF preferred from vector software. Outline all fonts and keep fine lines at 0.6 pt or heavier. PDF, AI, CDR, and SVG are preferred, and other common formats are accepted.

How fast will my order produce?

Production runs 1 to 2 business days. Delivery time depends on location and the shipping method selected at checkout.

Upload Gang Sheet FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a low-temperature full-color gang sheet?

Low-Temperature Full-Color Heat Transfer Gang Sheets hold multiple full-color designs on one press-ready sheet for heat-sensitive fabrics. You upload one completed sheet file sized to the sheet you order, and the whole sheet presses with a low 260-270F application and a soft-hand full-color finish.

How do I order a gang sheet?

Choose a sheet size (A5, A4, or A3), set the quantity, upload your completed gang-sheet file, and add any notes in Details and Comments. Use Upload Gang Sheet mode; there is no online builder, so arrange your designs before uploading.

What sheet sizes can I order?

Three sheet sizes: A5 5.8 x 8.3 in, A4 8.3 x 11.7 in, and A3 11.7 x 16.5 in. Arrange your artwork within the selected sheet dimensions before uploading.

What is the minimum order?

Minimum 10 sheets per design. The configurator enforces the live gang-sheet minimum.

How does quantity pricing work?

Order the quantity of sheets you need. Unit cost steps down at 20, 50, 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 2500, and 5000 sheets, so larger runs cost less per sheet. Final totals calculate live in the configurator.

Can I arrange multiple designs on one sheet?

Yes. Arrange multiple designs, sizes, and placements within the selected sheet area. The sheet shares one press application across every design on it.

Which fabrics work best?

Performance wear, tri-blends, spandex and stretch blends, high poly blends, tech fibers, premium jackets and outerwear, polos, hoodies, and water-resistant promotional bags, outerwear, and shoes that still take a press. These are the fabrics that scorch or shine under a standard press.

Will it work on waterproof fabrics?

It bonds to water-resistant fabrics, but not to fabrics that are 100 percent waterproof. For fully waterproof shells, choose a promotional transfer instead.

How is this different from a dye-blocking transfer?

This formulation has no dye-blocking layer. It solves heat damage, not dye migration. Where fabric dye may bleed even at a lower temperature, a dye-blocking transfer is the safer choice.

Will it work on dark and light garments?

Yes. A white backing under the color keeps artwork vivid on both light and dark fabrics made for low-heat pressing. Choose the garment color at checkout so the job runs correctly.

How do I specify brand colors?

Use the Colors field to enter Pantone or PMS numbers, CMYK values, or other custom color instructions in plain text. Spot-color matching is available, and metallic colors are available at no extra cost.

Step-by-Step Application

  1. Confirm heat tolerance. Check that the item takes 260°F to 270°F. When unsure about coatings, stretch, or dye stability, test on a sample or hidden area first.
  2. Prepare the garment. Clean and smooth the press area. Press the blank briefly where the material allows to remove wrinkles and surface moisture.
  3. Place the transfer. Position the transfer printed side up on the garment, not over a seam, zipper, or hardware. The finished size of the transfer is the finished size of the print.
  4. Close the press. Set the platen to 260°F to 270°F and close with medium-firm pressure at 30 to 40 psi. On a manual press, use a higher pressure setting.
  5. Hold. Keep the press closed for the full 12 to 15 seconds. Do not shorten the dwell, because the low-cure adhesive needs the full time to bond at the lower temperature.
  6. Peel hot. Open the press and peel the carrier away immediately while the print is still warm, with a slow steady pull.
  7. Check the result. Confirm the edges are fully bonded with no scorch, shine, or lifting before continuing with the rest of the run.

Important Precautions

  • Use an air-operated or manual heat press, not a domestic iron, a craft press, or any press without adequate pressure settings.
  • Do not press items that cannot withstand 260°F to 270°F.
  • Keep transfers away from seams, zippers, and hardware that prevent even pressure; the print cracks over seams.
  • Do not use on fabrics that are 100 percent waterproof; choose a promotional transfer there.
  • This transfer has no dye-blocking layer; where dye may migrate even at low heat, choose a dye-blocking transfer.
  • When in doubt about heat sensitivity or coatings, press a sample first and check it after cooling before running production.
  • Always perform a test press before starting full production. We are not responsible for damaged garments.

Care Instructions

  • Wash Cold Inside Out.
  • Best if Hang Dry or No Heat if Must Tumble Dry Low Heat.
  • Do Not Bleach.
  • Do Not Iron Imprint/Transfer.
  • Do Not Dry Clean.
  • Best Not to use fabric softener.

Always perform a test press before full production to verify adhesion, application settings, and garment compatibility.

Artwork Requirements

Artwork Requirements

Print-Ready Basics

Prepare your design at the intended finished size for the best printing results. Clean artwork, accurate dimensions, and properly prepared files help preserve detail and color.

  • Prepare artwork at the intended finished printing size.
  • Use one clearly identified artwork file per design.
  • Convert all fonts to outlines or shapes.
  • Check spelling, colors, dimensions, and orientation.
  • Use transparent backgrounds wherever no printing is intended.
  • Include any special design requirements in your order notes.

Accepted File Formats

High-quality PDF files exported from vector artwork are preferred. Other vector and raster formats can also be submitted for review.

  • Preferred Format: High-quality PDF
  • Vector Formats: AI, EPS, CDR, SVG
  • Raster Formats: PSD, PNG, JPG
  • Raster Resolution: At least 300 PPI at the finished printing size.
  • Linked Images: Embed all linked images in the submitted file.

For designs with transparent areas, PNG or PSD is preferable to JPG. JPG files should only be used when the entire rectangular background is intended to print.

Color & Design Setup

Color preparation depends on the selected transfer type. Use the correct color settings for the printing process and make sure the submitted design represents the intended finished artwork.

  • Color Mode: Prepare artwork using CMYK color mode. Pantone color matching is not available for DTF.
  • Pantone-Matched Products: Where matching is supported, use official Pantone Solid Coated (C) colors.
  • Transparency: Keep non-printing areas transparent and avoid unwanted solid backgrounds.
  • Effects: Semi-transparent glows, fades, and shadows may need to be converted into solid-edged artwork.

Minimum Detail & Text Requirements

Fine details should be large enough to reproduce cleanly. Avoid excessively thin free-floating lines and ensure that text and vector effects are prepared correctly.

Requirement Minimum
Free-Floating Line Thickness 0.6 pt / 0.2 mm
  • Convert all editable text to outlines or shapes.
  • Embed linked artwork and images.
  • Expand pattern fills before submitting vector artwork.
  • Keep small design elements clear and avoid excessively fine details.

Before Uploading Your Artwork

  • Verify the finished printing dimensions.
  • Confirm that the artwork uses the appropriate color setup.
  • Check that text has been converted to outlines or shapes.
  • Verify that transparent areas will remain unprinted.
  • Review fine lines and small design elements.
  • Upload the artwork using the product configurator.
  • Add important artwork instructions or special requests to your order notes.

If you are unsure whether your artwork is suitable, submit the best available file and explain any concerns in your order notes so the artwork can be reviewed.
